Here's how it works
The first part of the process is a consultation. I will talk with you in great detail about the treatment, the look you are trying to achieve and what I might recommend to you. This is very much a two-way conversation. Once I have an idea of the look you are aiming for and if you are happy to proceed I will carryout a patch test. If you decide to proceed with the treatment a non-refundable deposit of £75 will be required within 24 hours to secure your appointment. The deposit will be credited toward the procedure fee. The outstanding balance can then be paid in full on the day of your 1st treatment or split with one of our payment plans.
When you arrive we will review the information discussed during the consultation and ascertain if there are any changes which may affect your suitability for treatment. Next will be to measure and mark out your brows with a makeup pencil. These can be drawn on and adjusted as many times as necessary! I will never begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with the size, shape and position of your eyebrow design. Using a specialist hand-tool which holds disposable microblades, tiny precision hair strokes are created by hand, mimicking the natural direction and lengths of your brows. Pigments are then implanted into the channels created by the microblades in the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort. The treated area will look 40-50% darker than the colour chosen during the consultation but this will fade within 3-4 days. The treatment generally takes around 2 and a half hours and will leave you with highly defined, ultra-realistic looking brows.
REFRESH COLOUR BOOST
A second appointment is needed 7-10 weeks after your first treatment. This is usually a 2 hour appointment to add more pigment to the brow area. This is because as the area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ as well as others and you may have a few areas that need more colour. This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, I would advise you always come back for your retouch.
Microblading is a hot topic right now! Also known as micro-stroking, feather touch or eyebrow embroidery, the method of creating realistic and semi-permanent hair strokes is essentially the same. Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique, used to create ultra-fine lines in the upper layers of the skin. The subtle effect enhances facial features rather than overpowering them. When you add the fact that, unlike machine tattooing, they don't stay with you for life, allowing them to be redesigned to suit your face and look, as it changes over time, it's no wonder that microblading has become such a hot beauty trend.
